1. Contest begins October 1, 2006 and ends January
31, 2007. All entries must be scored by February 1, 2007 to qualify
for the Big Buck Contest.
2. You must be an EASL member before October 1, 2006 . An updated
membership list will be used to check if you are a current member.
3. There will be a monthly contest for deer taken in Louisiana only.
A $10.00 prize will be awarded to the monthly winner.
4. Deer to be entered into the contest may be taken anywhere in
the United States and Canada only.
5. Any deer to be entered in the contest must be taken by fair chase
in the wild. This means that any deer taken on a game ranch that
is HIGH FENCED where the deer cannot come and go as they please
will not be entered. Remember this is supposed to be a friendly
contest.
6. All deer to be entered into the contest must be scored by the
contest chairman. The chairman's decision is final.
7. There will be 3 divisions for the contest: Youth Division for
children 15 years old and under; Louisiana Division Big Buck; and
Big Buck Overall. The winner of each division will have their deer
mounted for free - compliments of Fins to Feathers Taxidermy and
presented to them at the February meeting. Also, door prizes are
awarded at the end of the contest for anyone entering a deer.
