5th Annual Sporting Clays Event at Hunter's Run in Port Allen. Individual shooters and corporate team shooters welcome. Sporting clays is a challenging clay target game designed to simulate field wing shooting, where shooters are presented with a wide variety of targets that simulate the flight path of game birds such as flushing, crossing, incoming and other angling shots. Advanced registration and RSVPs are encouraged for event planning, but not mandatory. Come out and join us in a friendly day of competition and fellowship for EASL’s fundraising event. EASL's 7th annual Terry Melancon Saltwater Challenge scheduled this month, has been cancelled due to the effects of the oil spill and recreational fishery closures in the Grand Isle area.

EASL Kid's Fishing Rodeo at Twin Lakes Park in Dutchtown. Registration starts at 6:30 and fishing is from 7:00 till 9:00.
